Okay, I am officially not allowed to be accused of derailment. I am, I think, now a voice for staying on the rails!

Where are we as we transition back? I mean, to opening, not to whatever gender we may have presented before, of course, which for me has always been cis female. ANYWAY. Retail stores are reopening today with curbside pickup, but not much else is really changing. Alex's office is still closed, so I have him wandering around the place, looking for snacks and stomping through rooms occasionally. Mom is still doing telemedicine only, dad's considering working from home primarily after he could potentially return, only coming in for meetings with clients. I'm still doing my therapy sessions through telemedicine myself, kind of gotten used to it, but I miss seeing her in person. When the worst of this has passed, I want to go back to walk-and-shrink sessions with her.

Although FL said I could go back to my regular prcedures on Monday, I waited until today to resume my normal schedule.  Certainly there are some people that are putting off their appointments until later in the month or into next month, but we are getting back as fast or faster than I expected.

 

Keep in mind in FL just 0.18% of the population has had a confirmed case of Covid19.  Not bad.

 

In the US, 0.40% of the population has had it.

First day of reopened barbers/hair salons in Texas.

Managed to wrangle simultaneous appointment for self & Mini-Bone.

We got not just haircuts, but all of our hairs cut.

Then went down Wendy's drivethrough to grab din-din with use of coupons.

A good bachelor session was had by all.

Just make sure to tell your dad to put the phone on mute when he uses the facilities.
