My husband (From Scotland) and I went through the CR1 visa process and he received the temporary visa in his passport which he used to enter the states on November 27, 2019! The issue is this temporary visa expires May 27th and we have not received His green card or gotten any indication that it was sent. Has anyone received their green card since entering in 2019? Is there someone we can call to inquire about this green card?

Did you pay the green card fee?

His Visa expiration is meaningless.   They endorsed his passport upon arrival giving him 1 year

YMMV

You have received some good feedback already regarding fees, address, etc.

Just wanted to add clarification on the CR1 visa_ It's a single-entry visa and pretty much becomes meaningless the moment the immigrant enters on it. The officer at the airport likely provided a I-551 stamp in the passport, valid 1 year from entry date. I-551 is the greencard document, meaning the stamp serves as greencard until the physical card arrives.

You haven't answered a very important question....Did you pay the $220 immigration fee after the interview?

My apologies! I thought the whole thing expired in 6months, we just found the small print that says valid for one year. The 6 months was only for first entry. Thanks

Yup. And in addition to that: the stamp and also the physical card are only PROOF of status, he doesn't lose his status when the stamp expires before the card arrives :)

Unless he has an urgent need for international travel, he's golden.

You visa is expired after 6 month, which means that if you didn't enter the country until expiry date you would not be able to use it. Since you did enter, your i551 stamp is valid for 1 year from the date of entry.

I arrived November 23rd 2019, got the card end of February. you can open account on Uscis website and see if your GC was sent to you

Thank you, we just called them and found they have still not sent the card. Hopefully they will send it now that we inquired. Their website says you should get it within 120 days and it’s past that for us so that’s what made us look into it

If you registered for USPS, informed delivery  (if you haven't already) you will know when your GC is due to be delivered. They scan your post/mail before you receive it. I found this tool really good when I waiting for my GC's and then my Citizenship documents.  Good luck and keep safe!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

Just for clarity...

Ordinary mail from USCIS will show up as scanned images in Informed Delivery.

Packages/Envelopes (including cards, like a green card or EAD) will show up automatically via the tracking number. No images, though.
