 Do we know if this has affect on those pending (parent of US citizen) immigration?  One of my parents was born in China but has been a Canadian Citizen since teenage years.  We are in the approval stage and waiting on interview.  I'm not sure whether they go by current country citizenship (my parent is not dual, just Canadian).

There is no ban on parents due to either Canadian or Chinese citizenship or nationality.

There is a worldwide ban on IR-5 visas (parent of a USC), per the EO discussed in this thread.

Thank you.  Yes, was seeing if this will get extended and saw some discussions on covid/China and got me thinking.  Just hanging in tight here... hoping we'll all be reunited one day.

Hey everyone, any news on whether this EO will expire or continue? I saw previous posts discussing this but didn't get a conclusive answer (maybe there is just no such thing at the moment?)
