Hi guys! I apply for my passport the day after my ceremony.... the 26 of feb they received March 2 and still waiting I paid expedited and there’s no answer yet 😖 I send my certificate and I’m stressed out cuz wt all of this craziness going on I have no documents to apply for a new job or social security help( unemployment) anyone else waiting? Or am I panicking

You should get it soon. They said anyone who applied before 3/19 and requested expedited service would have that request honored.

I really hope so! it been more than 3 weeks already and im stressed out :( ill wait this full week before call

I had my oath on 3/11 and from the Oath I went straight to a USPS without an appointment. At first they said they can't do anything and I told them...Ma'am there is no one here, would you be kind to help me out?

 

So they did help me out, took a picture that was in my opinion really bad, the background was yellowish and I was 1000% sure they will reject it. IT WAS NOT REJECTED.

I don't have any travel plans but I paid for expedite just because I was not at peace with not having my Naturalization Certificate in hand.

The longer I don't have it, the higher the chances of being misplaced. This was my logic.

 

Literally dodge the bullet with both my Oath and with my Passport. 

 

See below my timeline.

is there anyone in same journey as I am?I mean I applied for my US passport 2 weeks ago with normal processing fee by sending my original naturalization certificate  I wanted to file for expedited processing but because I had no life and death emergency so I could not file for expedited processing so I applied with normal processing fee but right now I am  worried after listening stories of people not getting their naturalization certificate back from passport agency and also heard that certificates sometime gets lost In mail secondly due to corona virus situation whole process would get delayed so according to you guys do you have any idea that how long is it going to take to get my passport and naturalization certificate back they received my application 24th march

You should be able to check on the status of passport - google the number. 

 

But, they have stopped all passport issuances unless life or death situation. They won’t even accept new applications.

I'm assuming you're talking about expedited and in person (unless life or death situation) passport processing. Routine is still available but with significant delay.

Yes, expedited and in-person. Definitely major delays to be expected while under current circumstances.

I applied for my passport at USPS on 3/10 and DOS received my app on 3/13. No updates to the online status so far. I'll update here if my status changes. I do feel slightly uneasy about not having my naturalization certificate and it probably costs a lot of money to replace it.

Same. Were you able to apply for expedited service? I applied on 3/20 and was not able to.
