  1. Hello, how is everyone? I am US Citizen. I was informed a few days ago that my parents' cases have been concluded at NVC and next steps are to transfer cases to Islamabad Embassy? Can you tell me the time it takes NVC to transfer the case to the Islamabad Embassy? Can anyone tell me how long it takes to schedule an interview at the Islamabad Embassy approximately?
  2. Hello, I am a US Citizen and have filed I-130 for both of my parents, which were approved a few months back now I am assisting my parents to fill out their DS-260. There are a few confusing questions. Please assist me in answering these questions 1-is your spouse immigrating with you? 2- "Is your spouse immigrating to the U.S. at a later date to join you? 3-Is your child immigrating to the US at a later date to join you? Now the reality is that I would like my parents to be interviewed on the same day and travel to the US together if the visa is granted so how should i answer these questions? Lastly, the fact is that my parents once arrive in the US then they will file for my siblings and their four children. They all are above 21 years of age. Please let me know how should we answer these questions.
  3. Yes, my uncle actively manages his business. Please guide us what to do submit apart from his most recent IRS tax returns?
  4. My Uncle is going to be the joint sponsor for my parents green card petition. Both petitions are at NVC stage right now. My uncle is retired, but he is also a franchise owner. So my question is that on his form I-864 should he select/pick both options "retired and self-employed"? In his situation, what kind of documents should he include apart from his most recent IRS tax returns? His situation is tricky and confusing for us, but at the same time I don't want us to make any mistake while submitting everything to NVC. Can you please advise us in detail what to do?
  5. Thank you guys. I am sorry I failed to include some important information in my earlier question. The fact is that My uncle is retired, but he is a franchise owner. So my question is that on his form I-864 should he select/pick both options "retired and self employed"? In his situation, what kind of documents should he include? His situation is tricky and confusing for us, but at the same time I don't want us to make any mistake while submitting everything to NVC. Can you please advise us in detail what to do?
  6. Hello, I have few questions. My parents green card petitions were approved by USCIS few months ago. Now in order to move the case from NVC to the embassy, We are required to submit further necessary documents. My uncle is going to fill out paperwork as only joint sponsor for both of the petitions. My uncle is a franchise owner. What kind of documents should he provide and submit other than his IRS tax returns?
  7. Thank you guys for making things clear. Which form should my father-in-law should sign I-864-A or I-864? Our problem is that we don't make enough to meet financial requirements.
  8. I have filed green card petition for my parents. I have a few questions and concerns. My spouse and I file taxes each year together as a couple, but our annual income does not qualify us to sponsor them, as a result I have decided to request my father-in-law to sponsor my both parents. We live with my father-in-law at the same address. My father-in-law makes more than enough to qualify as sponsor for both my parents. Can my Father-in-law sponsor my parents? Should he fill and sign I-864 or I-864 A? Should we go ahead with him being as a sole sponsor since he makes more than the required threshold? Should I also fill and sign I - 864? Should my spouse also sign I-864 A since we fill taxes each year together as a couple?
  9. Hello guys, I have few questions regarding uploading documents for the AOS section on CEAC. How should I upload I-864 and I-864 A?. Do I need to upload them as 2 separate forms under one category "Affidavit of support form"? Are you suggesting filling them out and putting them in one folder before uploading them under category "affidavit of support form"? Should I upload W-2 and 1099 under " Additional supporting document"section? Should I upload them one by one or put them in one folder before uploading them under "additional supporting documents"? My spouse works as independent contractor how should I upload her license and business agreements? Should I put them in one folder before uploading them under "additional supporting documents"? I Apologize for any kind of inconvenience.
  10. Hello guys how are you? I paid an AOS fee for my mom and dad cases a few days ago. Tanscations went through smoothly and I noticed that money was withdrawn from my bank account, but the website / system still does not give option to upload financial documents. Additionally, on NVC website payment status still. Being shown as "in the process".Can't we upload documents separately for AOS and IV process? Do you guys think that the way system/process works, we need to pay for both "AOS and 'IV process" first before system allowing us to upload documents for both categories? I was trying to pay and upload documents for AOS first, but so far website says "payment in process"
  11. My parents I-130 have been approved now when I log into CEAC then it asks for two separate fees one of the AOS and second is for an IV processing fee. I would like to pay an AOS processing fee first and submit its related forms and documents, then pay for IV processing fees and its related documents and forms. Is that going to create any problem?
  12. thanks 1-Do i need to submit our previous years tax returns if the answer is yes then how many?
  13. Hello guys my Mom and Dad both live in Pakistan. Their I-130s have been approved few weeks ago by USCIS . I have few questions regarding process related to the National Visa Center stage. 1-I and my wife both file taxes as married couple every year, so does my wife need to fill out 864-A? 2- My wife works as an independent contractor as a result, she does not have w-2 she gets 1099 is that going to be accepted by NVC? 3-what other documents do we need to submit to NVC regarding my wife's work? 3-Do we need to submit pay stubs along with other financial documents? How many pay stubs do we need to submit? 4- How many years of IRS tax returns do need to submit to NVC? 5-Do we need to submit W-2 for previous years too or only the last year? 6-can anyone please list the civil documents needed to submit at NVC stage?
  14. Thank you guys. My spouse works as an independent contractor as a result, she does not have W-2 but she has 1099. Is that going to be acceptable by NVC? Just submitting IRS transcripts, 1099 from my spouse along with my W-2 is that going to be sufficient? Do we need to submit W-2 only from the year 2022? Do we need to submit pay stubs as well?
  15. Do you think that are we going to be required to upload W-2 for both of us i mean for myself and my spouse?
  16. Hello, guys my parents live in Pakistan and there I-130 is approved by USCIS recently.I am sponsoring them for green card. Now my question is that what are next steps when we reach at NVC stage? Can anybody share their experience or explain step by step? I have few questions. I and my spouse both have been filing taxes together as married couple every year. I have part time job and my spouse work as independent contractor. Do we need to submit two separate affidavit of support to NVC one signed and filled by me as sponsor and second one filled and signed by my spouse? Should we submit I-485? Do we both need to submit our W-2 the fact is that my wife works as independent contractor she does not have W-2 so what should we do to overcome that? How many W-2 do we need to submit just one or multiple years? Do we need to submit my parents police clearnce certificate to NVC? Other than Police clearance certificate what other civil documents do we need to submit to NVC? How much time does NVC take to approve documents & payments to finally send case to islamabad embassy? How long approximately Islamabad emabssy is taking to process/grant IR-5 visa to parents?

Thank you. I have an old Nadra B form issued in 2005 and FRC issued in 2015. I don't know is that going to be enough? I have matric and intermediate result card both issued in 2004 and 2006 respectively. One problem which I am facing is that my father's name on my educational document compare to my Pakistani passport and ID card has a slight variation. on my passport and ID card my dad's name has the addition of khan and khan is not included in my educational documents matrix and intermediate result cards. We never noticed this we noticed that variation recently. Lastly, school certificates do not include the mother's name in Pakistan so I don't know what kind of evidence can I provide for mother's petition. can you please guide me how can we prepare an affidavit? I cannot afford a lawyer can you please guide me about preparing an affidavit. thank you very much guys for your guidance

Hello, how are you guys? I am going through the dilemma. I am a Naturalized US citizen and filed I-130 with USCIS for my mother & father and USCIS issued us RFE due to my late registered birth in Pakistan. They gave an option of voluntary DNA testing. My confusion is that how would that work for us and how would we start our DNA testing process? Because my parents live in Pakistan and I am in USA. Can you guys please list all the steps for DNA testing in case of pending I-130 with USCIS issuing an RFE? How long does whole DNA testing process takes? How much that would cost us? Please reply
  19. How much does DNA would cost us? How would DNA testing work when my parents are in Pakistan and I am in the US?
  20. You must submit all other evidence requested in this letter. Petitions lacking sufficient primary or secondary evidence may be denied despite DNA evidence. If you choose to undergo DNA testing, please note that: DNA testing is VOLUNTARY. You are responsible for all costs of DNA testing and related expenses (such as doctor's fees and fees to transmit testing materials and blood samples) are exclusively your responsibility. Submitting to DNA testing does NOT guarantee approval of the petition. This is what RFE letter says which means I will have to submit primary or secondary evidence with DNA results because DNA results alone are not enough
  21. RFE letter gives us option to submit one out of bunch of documents. FRC is not listed there. The list includes Government record, Hospital Records, Church record, school record etc. In Pakistan they do not put in mother's name on school certificates. It has only my father's name.
  22. Hello guys my parents live in pakistan. I have filed two I-130 for my parents. I just received an RFE for both petitions. The reason is that my birth was registered late. They are asking more evidence. My question is that if I submit two photocopies of the NADRA FRC for both petitions separately along with RFE is that going to be sufficient?
  23. Thank you. I have sent e-inquiry back at the end of January and in return I have not received any response from them 2 months ago even contacted the local congressman, but so far it did not help either they just say that there is a backlog and they are processing cases in order they receive
