They said the same and just told me to email the lockbox support. I did that yesterday and she said to wait to business days to hear back from them. So we will see. I saw a few people not even getting responses from the email. No idea how this is supposed to work if we can’t get a receipt number.

Were you able to get your receipt number thru phone call? When i emailed the lock box i had to include my receipt/case number that was given to me by USCIS customer service rep.

The returns usually go to the service center or field office that issued the letter not the contractor lockbox.

Ah I see. Thank you for clarifying that.

So I Should just go ahead and mail the package to the po box listed on the rejection letter, that should be fine right?

I found my receipt number on my email and logged in to check my case today. I emailed them with my A number and full name yesterday. I will email them again including my receipt number now. She didn’t say anything about including a receipt number today. But I’ll do it anyway.

I'm grateful for your help!

The lockbox is the processing center which your file first goes for processing. For you it’s the Texas Lockbox based on the address above. I would call USCIS number at 1-800-375-5283. If they have processed your case but you haven't received your NOA the agent will ask you to write to the Texas Lockbox which is different email from ours (Phoenix Lockbox) that the other filers mention earlier in the thread. They will also give you your case number to track the case. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply, I did get a receipt number starts with SRC  through a text message, but not the actual receipt notice, I called USCIS yesterday and the lady said I should wait till 05/28 if i don't receive it I should call back.

The reason i was asking about the lockbox is that she asked me if i sent my package to the address or the Lockbox, which is confusing to me!!

What website did you use to log on and see that the fingerprints had been taken?

I went to the USCIS website and clicked log in. I had a previous log in so I logged in and clicked case status. Then I put my receipt number in and it gave me my update. If you don’t have a log in, create one. I hope that helps....

I’m sorry... I hope you hear something soon. I dread every time I have to do an application. It’s the worst but has the best results. I’d call the USCIS and give your A number and see if they can give you a receipt number. Try each day as they have different people working if you don’t get it the first time.

I also just sent a electronic form for “did not receive notice” on USCIS.
https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do

if anyone wanted to also send this on top of the lockbox support. Although expected response is June 8th but it’s definitely something more!

We tried to but it wouldn’t let us proceed. Guess we have to wait until May 23rd. It gave us this error message:

The following error(s) need to be corrected:

  • Do not submit a request if you have just recently been approved, allow approximately 30 days to receive your new notice.

April 22, 2020 - I-751 sent

April 23, 2020 - I-751 received at Lockbox

April 29, 2020 - Check cashed
??? - didn’t receive text or email confirmation. Ugh!

Weird... maybe you’re not at your 30 days yet. I filed mine exactly a month today so it went through. If you don’t get anything by then... try again!
