Got my passport back now so thankfully at the end of this process (for now). Thank you to everyone who has contributed, and continues to contribute, to this site. For all the negatives you hear about the internet, VJ is a prime example of an online community that has a positive impact on its members.I wish you all the very best of luck for the rest of your respective journeys. As for me, I won't be heading for the States immediately - got a few things to tie up here - but hopefully see you around on one forum or another.

Mine is 6 months from the date of my medical, which will be the same for everyone else provided you have your medical before your visa is issued. The rule is that the visa is valid for 6 months from visa issue or medical date, whichever is sooner

Yes, immigrants interview are also conducted in only Lagos.

Thanks so much, that’s a relief because I got a mail saying my visa will be delivered to Abuja and I reside in Lagos.

Hey everyone, just checking in. In Lagos currently awaiting our interview tomorrow. Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you.

Give it all your best, offer to give them documents even though they didn't ask you for it. Try as much as possible to prepare yourself and pray. God works wonders. Talk like it's your last.

Hi everyone, I just got my interview letter today for March 31 (Hong Kong). Visa category is F2A (child of LPR). What sort of questions am I going to expect at the interview?

The VO will basically try to establish the relationship between you and your petitioner. Don't expect much. They might request for pictures of you two together and also when the petitioner travelled to the United States.
