I hope coronavirus ends soon... so that the China government and embassy can start to work as usual.

That makes three of us! still waiting on NOA2 but should be getting it soon, wonder if interviews will be backed up. I got lucky and came back to the states Jan 21st from Shenzhen just before it started to get bad....my fiance has gone outside 2 times in 40+ days 🙄

Wow this thread is amazing. Thanks so much for all of the help and guidance, Greenbaum. I received the approval on Feb 13 and filled out the form on the NVC site today.

Wondering if I can ask a question. My fiancé is Irish living in Vancouver BC on a work visa. Will his interview/medical be in Vancouver or in Ireland? Hoping Vancouver but I just realized I didn’t really know. And if you have the appropriate country’s P3 I would greatly appreciate it. TIA!!

I don't know the answer, but I know for sure it won't be Vancouver. The only one in Canada is the one in Montreal.

Man what a pain the DS160 was today, took me several hours to finish with the way the pages were loaded and I was more than half way finished.

So excited to see so many in transit!!

My NOA2 is on Feb 10th. Just checked and still shows "at NVC"...

Hmm...🤔

As suggested on pdf, the next shipping date may be on March 17th. So I may have to wait until then? 🤔😵

Sadly Guangzhou Consulate has already instructed NVC not to send any visa packets until after they are fully operational and are caught up on the backlog that was created when they cancelled all interviews and reduced to skeleton staffing.

I just received my case number today!!

@GreenbaumI'm sorry If this is a redundant question but I am wondering if we can start the DS-160 without the P3 I have the case number and invoice number. The NVC rep told me today our case will be on the way to the embassy in a few days. You didn't have a copy of the Macedonian P3 and I'm wondering if based on other P3's should we start the DS160 now or wait until we receive our P3. Sorry if any of this is covered in the google doc I read it but still unclear on this. Also will definitely send you a copy of the Macedonian P3 for future cases once I receive it.

Thanks so much!!

Vancouver doesn't do visa processing as they are now processed at the consulate in Montreal. What was the address you used for him on the I-129f? If Vancouver then he will interview in Montreal if an Ireland address then in Dublin Ireland. You can have the case transferred to Montreal from Ireland but he must show residence for at least 6 months in Canada to complete the transfer.

Please let me know which P3 you need and I'll provide it after you figure out which consulate he will interview at.

Tried the DHL hack from the PDF. My document’s estimated delivery date to the manila embassy is on March 10.

Did you read the part about we know what the DHL confirmation looks like so no need to take a screen shot and post. Not posting the screen shot keeps the thread clean. Can't image if everyone posted a screen shot what this thread would look like. Just the fact that you have a handle on the transfer of your file is a plus. Your on your way.

The China US Embassy is on a skeleton staff and are not doing interviews. The embassy has asked NVC to hold all visa's until such time as they get back to a full staff and have caught up on the back log. Sorry for the bad news.

Me too. Mine says still at nvc. Noa2 on 2/13.

As stated in the PDF it normally takes 30 days to NVC and 1-2 weeks before a case number is assigned. You have just a little more wait. You could be on the last shipment in March or first one in April.
