Hi my wife’s visa was in AP and now says issued on CEAC.

What do we need to do now? How long does it usually take to get to the speedex office?

Congrats :) you just have to wait the embassy will send the passport to the speedex office and they will inform you! it takes 2-3 days for the passport to reach!

Why is it taking long for the males to stay in AP after visa approval? Most people I know are still in AP who have been married and applied in 2018...? Any specific reasons? Traveled abroad? Previous Marriage? Army background? financial status...? What history is linked...?

Its the necessary background check that embassy does! it takes a few weeks to several months in some cases depending on your luck! Usually the name and no travel history are also major reasons that lead to greater admin processing chances.

@Muhammad Bilal
whats your current status right now?
my interview was on 13th January 2020, they kept my passport and mentioned that I will get my visa in 1 to 2 weeks.
CEAC status is showing 'Administrative Processing' since 13th Jan.
