Hi,

My husband's interview was on February 3rd, we had a missing document (original marriage certificate) and the missing document was delivered February 6th.

We have been in AP since the day of the interview, since then, the case has been updated 4 times and no change in status.

P.S. This is for the JA Embassy but I wanted to share 🙂

I am creating this thread for all the members facing the administrative processing issue during the 2020! You can share your experiences here and discuss freely! I had my interview on 9th of January 2020 and was told that my visa is approved but still facing administrative processing.

My status was refused and yesterday it changed to back to Ready and they kept my wife’s passport and I’m going for a wavier cuz I’m from Yemen and its part of the trump ban hopefully its good sign !!

Yes, they kept my husband’s passport the day of the interview and said he was approved. However, we were missing one document and ended up in administrative processing on February 3, 2020. His status never said refused...it only said administrative processing and today it said issued. Every embassy is different so I’m not sure If my case is a good example.
