No consulate gives visa on the day of the interview.   It is typically a week or two.

Congratulations I have added you to the spreadsheet. There are along of October and November DQ's and they aren't even close to done with October they stopped on 10/10 for January. February should come put next week. So we just have to see how far they get.

Okay here some intel you all of you who wonder.

 

No not necessarily first come first serve. This is where your PD date (Receive at USCIS date comes into play) Many of you have DQ Oct 22. So your PD would now come into play. If there are 5 slots and 10 of you with DQ 10/22 then you will be put in order of your PD. Even DQ's around your date may get selected before you because they been waiting longer which is understandable.

Holidays are over so more slots should be opening. The problem is for Nigeria, Ghana, Mumbai and many other busy embassies there are more petitions then slots. Lagos alone conducts over 300 visitor, business and student visas a day. With about 4 to 5 K1 and IR1/CR1 interviews per day.

It doesn't get mailed you are both emailed the IL. And yes you have to print it off to get into the embassy for interview.

I am confused as non of them have an new interview schedule yet. Has anyone else been in this situation?

 

FYI, my parents are applying in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Email embassy. Because the embassy has no idea she was rested usually you schedule your own. Why not email them to get clear instructions what to do next.

Congratulations I have added you to the spreadsheet. Ghana right now is scheduling for February and on DQ 10/22.

 

Why not call NVC and ask them are they done scheduling for Ghana. You might have a date.

I don't read this thread everyday and many are just putting information in a pot here so i have to read pages and pages of DQ, IL date and add you to the spreadsheet.

 

Reading the 1st post everyone should read it. Having correct data helps everyone so when people ask how long they can get more accurate information.

Sorry about that. Expect 2 to 3 months to be called back but email embassy every month after you do your test to stay on it.
