Before they called it DQ it was Case Complete. Meaning you are done and in Interview queue. Doesn't hurt to follow the thread there's a new thread each month and the previous closed so we can all be together.

For children. Depends on age. Not to deep. They may ask where they will live? When last you saw your parent? They usually don't really interview kids much.
They may ask for DNA test so be prepared for that.

 Pls am not a kid, am 20 yrs😊..USCIS already asked for DNA before approval of petition, so am done with DNA..pls wat are some of the questions they can ask for IR2 20 yr old?

Is there PD current? Because they are F2A category and eachembassy only have selected slots for them.

No not necessarily first come first serve. This is where your PD date (Receive at USCIS date comes into play) Many of you have DQ Oct 22. So your PD would now come into play. If there are 5 slots and 10 of you with DQ 10/22 then you will be put in order of your PD. Even DQ's around your date may get selected before you because they been waiting longer which is understandable.

Holidays are over so more slots should be opening. The problem is for Nigeria, Ghana, Mumbai and many other busy embassies there are more petitions then slots. Lagos alone conducts over 300 visitor, business and student visas a day. With about 4 to 5 K1 and IR1/CR1 interviews per day.

There aren't many Senegal posters. Do you have any idea what they are doing as far as scheduling for that consulate?

The busy embassy have a set time they schedule. Usually the middle of the month like now some are scheduling for February.

 

You don' t have country on your profile so no way to answer your question. Check the spreadsheet for others from your country to see the times.

Last time you saw your parent, where will you live. What will you do when you get to US. Are you still single? Do you have kids. Who knows there's no template on what to ask. Depends on your case and how much your parent was in your life.

Senegal is slow as heck. Sorry they have always been slow. i would say exoect 3 to 4 months after DQ. I believe because Senegal does interviews for a few other countries and way understaff.

I just saw a lady that did interviews for many of my husbands family and I used too see her all the time when I lived in Dakar and she was in DC and she said 2 CO have been transferred to the Russian embassy.  So they REALLY under staffed. Which is sad because they have a huge building in Almadies they was building for years almost empty because of budget cuts.  They should have kept that small spot downtown barely 50 people fit in the waiting area. Everyone else had to wait outside

I asked for my case to be expedited  I got a CEAC  update  yesterday   it says In... Transit...
