Got the RFE letter. I forgot to select a box for Part 3, Question 4 on the I- 129F.

Can’t believe I missed it!!

So I supposed I write a Cover letter again and just send this page with my signature. No need to resend  the i129f?

(make a copy of everything)

That must be the number one mistake that most make. They miss that question/tick mark. They tried to purposely hide it, but who knows. Any ways do only what the RFE says. Create a cover letter outlining what you are submitted in reply to the RFE and slip it in their envelope (yes after making a copy) and send it off. Takes under normal situations 2 weeks for your approval. This is the last step to the approval. So, expect it soon.

I know to be patient, but it's frustrating seeing people with NOA1 dates well after mine that are approved. 😟

Yes it is.  Noa1 june 5!  But it is also a good thing, with each of their cases out the way it will definitely be your turn soon

You Friend are so very patient. I do not have any idea how you deal with it but I hope you hear something back soon.

I hope your approval comes soon. I have to wonder what makes some cases go through quickly and others drag on.

The answer appears on the first post on the first page of this thread.

While you are waiting here are the links to your P3. Spend some time going over what is needed and begin to gather everything, so you are ready when it's your turn.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

I was going to wait till i heard something and did not want to be a bother but this has really made my day. Because you responded to someone else's post i didnt think this would have information concerning me and was surprised the information was directed at me. Thank you! This will give me something to pass the time with. And without a doubt, will give back as much information as i can when the time comes

Hey everyone. We got our NOA1 Jan 16th. Waiting so very impatiently. I’m GA and fiancé is from Bangladesh but living in Portugal. Any other Bangladesh filers besides us? Congratulations to us for taking this big huge step and being one step closer to having the love of our lives home soon. Wish everyone the best of luck.  :)

Congratulations on taking the first BIG step in submitting your I-129f. Just some FYI for you to be aware of. When the approval comes from USCIS (NOA2) you'll see that it will state that you will be assigned to the Portugal embassy for processing the interview. This is determined in the I-129f application for which you placed his current address. I hope you have worked that into your plans.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Thanks

Thanks

Thank you for reply.

The embassy in which he will have his interview is very confusing. On the website it says that the Portugal embassy will not process the interview. It states that he will have his interview in France. Guess we will need to wait until we get the next notice to see where he will need to go.

Thanks for updating your profile. If that is what the embassy is saying, then I would expect that's where he will be interviewing. Find the subforum for France and begin looking over what you will need and connecting with others.
