Hi there! This is my first post and it is nice to meet you guys. I am happy to be a part of December 2019 AOS filers community. I'm sharing my timeline with you:

Replying to Wayne: Most people keep their short form of the BC which contains less information about you. USCIS needs the long version which for example I had to apply to my country Department of Vital Records.

I wish luck to all of you! Fingers crossed

Hey everyone, hope your weekends are going good. I have 2 questions I just need a little clarification on.

1. When USCIS sends you the RFIE for the income and needing a joint sponsor, when sending the documents back to them, Do I need to do a new Form I-864 for the primary sponsor or do I just need to do a form for the joint sponsor?

2. For the tax documents, do I only need to submit the Tax Return Transcript if I have it? If not, what else needs to go with it?

1. My guess is just need form for the joint sponsor.

2. Either tax return transcript or Federal income tax return (Form 1040), W-2 and Form 1099.

Yeah I hope so too. For the birth certificate RFE, i think I came across where they sometimes were asking for the "long form". Is that right and what is it exactly?

Hi! So you were approved for an expedited EAD - no decision yet?

just checking out some timelines to gain an idea of what to expect.

Yeah I was approved for the expedited EAD but now RFE is needed for the I-485. They approved the expedite quick though, I must say. I just read other people doing their expedite so I was like "it wouldnt hurt to try", and that I did lol. I have been getting multiple job offers so I just put them to good use.

That’s great news! I was denied, unfortunately. But that’s ok - I’ll work it out from here. Thanks for the input.

Today I had a unexpected but nice surprise. It shows in my app that My EAD card is being produced. I hope it is not a glitch from the app.

Application package was sent on December 18.

Congrats!! I sent mine same day as you did, nothing yet on my side.. What is your category if I may ask?

Creating this thread for people who have applied for AOS in December so we can share our updates/happiness/grief ;) Just about anything!

I just applied yesterday, AOS from Visa Tourist.

Can you tell me some details about you EAD expedited? Did you ask for it after EAD request or at the same time? I am thinking to ask for it since I have had couple hiring offers from big companies and now I am earning zero money....sigh! Do you think that it can be accepted as severe financial loss?

Thanks.

P.s. Did you also file the I-944? I had problems reporting I have zero credit score.

When you get the NOA then contact USCIS to expedite EAD.   Having a written job offer(s) helps.  They will tell you where to fax it to.
