I did already get the receipt numbers via text Monday at 12:47 am, just not NOA and surprised to see this lol

Congrats on the appointment! When are you scheduled for? I concur with the previous messages and would try to contact USCIS to receive copies of your NOAs1 for your records.

Im scheduled for the 28th of this month. Is there a link to request the copies or I would just have to call them?

This is what I found: USCIS instructs customers who have not received a USCIS document or card within 30 days of notification to call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283

There is moment with the cases of November filers. Some even received their interview dates scheduled. Hope we see some movement with our cases too soon. 

 

For a terribly impatient person like me, this is quite the challenge to keep still with a process that doesn't follow a steady path

Haha I try to be patient. I am going to do my Bio on Tuesday, so after that I will be seeing how fast the Orlando field office is processing cases.

 It'll definitely be faster than Dallas, Texas which is taking anywhere from a year and above to schedule interviews.

It does seem to be following a steady path for people from the same locations so we just need to wait until people from Dallas start getting scheduled I guess

Update:

got my biometrics today. As usual, very quick procedure, waiting time and biometrics about 30 min. I think I was mostly scared of having to drive on the highway under a snow storm. But thankfully the field office was open and I am already home safe and sound.

and yes! Hopefully our cases will move faster as well.

The very same day - later in the evening, after my biometrics appointment I got this update - I-485, I-765 : Cases were updated to show that the Fingerprints were taken.

No changes since then. Should see another update in the next 20 days I suppose, if everything goes per the schedule

Perhaps the timelines are different to schedule the interview for an employment based I-485 and family?based I filed in Oct 2019, my PD is current however my case has not been updated since 4 hours after my bio. appointment back on Dec 10th 2019. My children, which are on the same petition had their bio. appointments a week ago and zero updates on their case...... Perhaps they just like to keep people guessing

I think the interview schedules kind of depend on the local offices and how busy they are. But I'm not sure about the employment based I-485. I'm adjusting my status from H1B based on marriage to a USC. so I honestly don't know how employment based I-485 works. The only thing I know is that USCIS is anything but predictable  . I've tried to estimate my timeline based on others experience but hasn't worked out for me.

I've tried to estimate my timeline based on others experience when it came on to getting the NOA and it was a near hit lol. After my bio then I can do some real estimates.

 

PS. For anyone in Florida that is stuck in the house and doing their AOS, once you get your NOA, go get a Drivers License if you havent already. At least that way you can give yourself a little sense of independence and freedom while waiting on your EAD or anything else. 😉😎
