Thank you, I think I should be good for now then, as the W2 + some other documents is what I referred to by 'financial evidence'

I'm sorry for asking for confirmation again, I'm so extremely nervous 😅

Basing on past timelines from the same consulate, I should be doing my interview late January at the earliest (if we get lucky). Would the 2018 W-2 and tax return transcripts suffice? I'm not sure if we can already get ahold of the 2019 ones by then.

Pls do you have P3 for Nigeria?

Welcome to the forum.

A better place to inquire about embassy-specific requirements and/or documents may be the Sub-Saharan Regional Forum, rather than the general K1 Case Filing Forum: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/89-africa-sub-saharan/ .

Good luck on your immigration journey, and Happy Holidays!!

Scheduling the interview can take 1 to 3 months. Once you pay the $265 visa fee at GTB Bank, you can go online to schedule an appointment at www.ustraveldocs.com You can get the forms online at http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visa_forms.html No need to go to the consulate to pick up forms. Download forms if unexpired or get current versions of same forms. Email LagosIV@state.gov for your interview date.

You mean you called NVC

So it took 18 days for them to receive your case after NOA2?

Sorry for not being clear! Yes, I called the NVC today and they told me they received it today. I called around 5 pm EST and held for about 35 mins.

Hi

Received NOA2 on the 9th NOV 2019.

Got an email yesterday (23 DEC 2019)stating they received the petition from USCIS and will now forward the petition.

I have updated the email with NVC as stated in your pdf and checked the tracking and it shows "in transit"

Checked when the case number was assigned, and the date is the 10 DEC 2019

@Greenbaum We received our NOA2 notification online and are waiting for the physical copy to arrive.

In the mean time we are looking over your PDF and this thread to stay informed and prepare.

Just one question - do you have a copy of the P3 for Ireland?

Thank you for all your help and guidance.

The embassy only interviews once a month.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.
