Hello,

Thank you so much for sharing this information.

I have a few quick questions.

First is about emailing the NVC to update your email address referenced in the pdf above.  The link in the document attached brings you to a form to "Ask the NVC a Question" and there is no field for the beneficiaries email address.  Is the "question" asking to update email address? Or to ask for a case number? How soon should this be done after the NOA2 is received?

Secondly, do you know how soon interviews can be scheduled at the UK Embassy? Is it after the case number is assigned or does the Embassy let you know when they are ready for you to schedule?

Thank you in advance!

Were you able to do this and send the mail?

How did you resolve?

Hi, no I haven’t been able to figure it out, the link in the pdf sends you to the wrong form... like to ask a question to the NVC, nothing about submitting an email or anything. I tried searching the site in general but didn’t find anything, I thought I’d just have to call next week.

No no no that is the correct form! You just have to explain  why and what you want in the big empty box!!!! Ask NVC is correct. Just  update your email in the box and tell them what and why you are sending the request.

If you revisit the instructions and follow them then ONLY then can you be sucessful. There is NO wrong link. That's why I labled the PDF tips, tricks and hacks. Some are official and some are bent to use in a different way and since you are a newbie you wouldn't know that so that is why I created the PDF. YMMV

Ah gotcha, okay thank you. I was reading the #1 paragraph in the pdf as something that is like a way to specifically submit an email, especially since the actual Travel.state.gov site instructions also say to submit an email address in similar wording. The “ask a question” was throwing me off. Thank you for the clarification, appreciated!

Hi - I received my NOA2 😊.. now waiting for NCV to receive it. Does anyone have information on the P3 Packet for United Arab Emirates? My fiancé is from the Philippines but is currently working in Dubai.

The PDF mentions to provide NOA2 receipt number and WAC number.  Aren't they the same?  At least, that is what it looks like on my end....

Hello, fellow travelers!

We found out our case was approved because I randomly visited the USCIS website. We didn't get any notification. According to this site, we got our approval on 12/04.

Last Monday (12/09) we received the NOA02 letter and it says the date of approval is 12/03.

We sent on Tuesday the mail to NVC (via the form you are talking about) with our e-mail adress.

Given that the holidays are so close, I guess NCV will slow things down a little bit. We are planning on calling around the 23rd to see if there is any news.

The uncertainty is very stressful.

Good luck to everyone reading!

Here you go.

Don't do anything in advance until the case is ready at embassy and the embassy sends you an email to the petitioner to follow these steps for Scheduling interview, Medical exam, police clearance etc.  Usually takes about 2 months to receive.

You should go to your sub-forum website here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/97-middle-east-and-north-africa/ and here is a recent thread for some who are processing a K-1 and their recent experience (see below).

Also, more info here from your portal http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=United

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

Did you get your NOA2 your time line was not clear and or filled in. In either case congratulations, I'll  assume you are approved. Please download the .pdf file and send off that email to NVC.

I did that whole NVC email - but I don't think I got any confirmation.
