I'm not sure I set it up correctly. You said, select the flag in my profile. I don't see a flag.. Is it a country flag or an icon? Do I need to be using a non-mobile browser?

Time looks good. I don't  think you can see your flag on a mobile.

Exactly... I just hope they check this... We don't want to have them closing down offices that will see us with 2017 timeliness again

That would be terrible!

Hey everyone

I'm glad there's a thread for filers in December, I feel slightly better.

I actually sent my petition on the 6th of Dec. and received the NOA1 hard copy in 5 days, been here waiting for the NOA2 ever since. 🙂

Hey everyone - I'm glad there's a thread for filers in December, I feel slightly better.

Welcome to the thread. This can be a long wait from NOA1 to NOA2 so patience is important. Keep your expectations low and you will get through this just fine. BTW, they are just started working on November filers so you are still a few weeks off to hearing something.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

The best way to see if they have received your package is to use your tracking information from your courier. Then to determine when you will receive your NOA1 check and see if your "funds" have been withdrawn from your funding source. Then about 1-2 weeks later you should receive your NOA1. If you are anxious now, oh boy wait till you are waiting for the NOA2.

Hahaha. Greenbaum. You have such a calming effect on us. All if you anxious, come join me. I'm still waiting for NOA2 since I received NOA1 on June 19th. Its tough and hard to calm down but we just have to since there is no way we can push anything. I wish you all the best in this process.

This guy says he's a December filer and just got some kind of NOA2.

I take that with a pinch of salt...Maybe he should share the mail he received

So now that it’s getting closer to a possible NOA2, what would be the next steps after approval?

You would leave this thread and go to the March 2020 NOA2 to NVC thread!
