Not an issue.  Where did you read this? X-Rays are not needed by officials at POE.

That does not state that you turn in an x-ray at POE, only to hand carry them ... most likely so they don't get scanned.

I was given the CD with my x rays at interview and told it was now a “souvenir” of the process and no longer needed. POE CBP agents are not radiologists or doctors so what they would do with some x rays I have no clue. The doctor checks the x rays and signs the paperwork to show you have no physical signs of TB and that’s all immigration care about.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

and i believe now they only do xrays if the tb blood test comes up abnormal. our filing process was slightly different, but we received no xrays at his medical and when we asked about it they said they only do it now if theres something abnormal with the blood test.

If true it must be location limited because most are still routinely xrayed

YMMV

Still a routine in Germany and I'm quite certain that there's no high rate of tb 😉

one would think LOL

who knows with the government? i learned a long time just to shrug it off and move on. All i know, is we didnt have to do one, and what the doc told us (and his aos was approved, so, whatever the case is, it wasn't an issue for us lol)
