So, did everyone’s cases get transferred? Mine was moved out from Nebraska to Cali - but Cali has a much faster K3 processing time. Do you think I can submit an inquiry even with my LIN K3 lol

My husband did the live chat and apparently we’re still in Nebraska, but then a few minutes later he had a reply from his Congress person, and although they can’t speed anything up as we’re still under normal processing time, they said our i130 is now at California and our i129f is still in a queue in Nebraska and it’s taking around 9 months to process those! If that’s the case I’m expecting to hear from that around May.... and who knows where our 130 is and when we will finally get our approval 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

I did the live chat as well. My I-130 (PD 01/12/2020) was transferred from Nebraska to California on February 23.

My I-129F (PD 02/12/2020) is in Nebraska.

What can we expect from California? Are they usually fast?

We’ve already been waiting since July 2019 and almost 8 months into the process.

No idea what california will be like as they don’t usually process immediate relative spouse visas so there’s not even a timeline you can compare it against.

Hi everyone! This is my first post here, so here goes!

I-130 NOA1: 10/28/2019  (IOE)

I-129f NOA1: 2/27/2020  (EAC)

I know the I-129F trick doesn't seem to work anymore, but we submitted it in Feb (when we learned about it) anyway. We lost nothing doing it so why not?

I have a question, when you say "we lost nothing", does that mean if you submitted the I-130 already, doing the K-3 is free. I am looking at doing the k-3, but since as everyone is saying the trick does not work anymore, think it is a waste of my money

There is no extra fee required for the I-129F for a K-3.

There is, of course, one's time and effort to read the instructions, understand the process, complete the form, obtain documents, etc. Then mailing costs. Not really that significant if you have the time to spend, but not negligible in most cases either.

Hi everyone!

130 - 8/13/19

129F - 8/23 or 8/26, depending where you look.

Got a letter in the mail that our 129F was denied lol. NO IDEA when they denied it as the letter I received in the mail today was dated for today, but yeah! Wanted to throw that out there!

The letter got me so excited because we just submitted all of our docs at NVC last week 😩

Supposedly, submitting an I-129F to the Nebraska Service Center after the I-130 submission helps to speed up the approval of the I-130. Although it seems, like no one who received an IOE case number (all I-130’s submitted since July 1st 2019) has had their I-129F denied and the I-130 approved yet.

So this forum is for everyone who filed an I-130 (since July 1st 2019), got assigned to the Nebraska Service center, received an IOE case number and then submitted an I-129F (K3).

Please submit the date of

- Your I-130 NOA1

- Your I-129F NOA1

and keep us posted as soon as you get a progress on either one of the forms.

I’ll make a spreadsheet to see if there is a pattern.

Good luck to all of you!

Did you find this to be true? I have recently submitted my I-130 online and it is with the Nebraska Service Center.

I130 IOE 03/26/2020

I129F EAC 04/21/2020

I130 was filed on March 26th and Got IOE receipt number from TSC.

I also filed I129F for K3 visa at TSC, and I did not receive receipt for a while, when I called them, they said my case was transferred to VSC, then received my receipt with EAC  receipt number.

I don't have any transfer notice or anything, just verbal communication. I don't see any activity on the app either.

I have noticed from another thread that cases transferred from NSC to VSC from Jan 21st to Feb 23rd were getting approved at VSC in the months of March and Apr, approval were coming in pretty quickly too.

Since my I130 was  transferred from TSC To VSC around the April time frame, can I have my hopes up for an approval in July or Aug?
