POE Date : 2020-12-22
Got EAD Stamp : Yes,Passport Stamp
Biometrics Taken : No
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : The whole process took maybe 20min, most of which was just waiting after clearing immigration. They allowed us to go through the US Citizen line together after asking about which line to use. The officer only asked us a few simple questions and joked around with us. Pretty nice experience, especially after such a long flight.

Embassy Review : (Note: This is during Corona times) Our appointment was at 8AM and we got there at 7:30AM. There was no line and I was allowed to go inside with my husband. We went in to the 2nd floor and had to fill out the courier paper to have his passport sent at a late time and they gave us a paper showing the order the civil documents should be in. Then we went to the 2nd floor where they called us to the window at about 7:45 and asked for all our documents. They asked for the petitioner's I-864 which we didn't have a copy of, but told them it was uploaded to the website. They said OK we will check it then and told us to sit down and wait to be called. At 8:30 my husband was called up to the window and his interview lasted about 12 minutes. By 8:46 we were finished with an approval and headed out of the embassy. Overall, everyone was really nice there. Total there was only 4 other people there waiting for interviews.
Rating : Very Good

Congratulations on getting approved! Thanks for sharing your interview experience and updating your timeline. I'm currently at the NVC stage, so it's nice to have an idea of what's to come.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
