That's the irony of it all, Philly isn't even a big city but now has slower processing times than even Los Angeles and Houston.

Philly was crawling  before Covid. That was our original field office and our original completion date was November 2020. Couldn’t imagine what it would be now after all this...

Anyone’s time increased once there timer ran out? My completion time was “September 2020” it updated today and now is showing completion time “December 2020”!!!?? This process is making me go crazy! I won’t be able to vote this year! This is ****** ridiculous!!! 🤬
my estimated wait time also expired but now they updated it showing “Estimated Wait Time 2 months”?!?!

Mine was August and now it got pushed to November. Can't believe that this process will drag on much longer.

I had my drive-through oath ceremony this week, the officer walked up to my car and administered the oath! It was a quick and unique process!

Quick question - what is everyone doing to update the social security? I believe the offices are closed and you can only mail-in your naturalization certificate to complete the process.

My husbands estimated completion date was July 2020 and well that didn’t happen. Perhaps you’re getting a more honest estimate, atleast that’s better than getting your hopes up all month for nothing to happen at all, but I do agree it’s absolutely ridiculous.

My estimated completion date was July 202and nothing is happen too.

My status is still 'We reviewed your biometrics'.

Filling: 11/22/2019

Finger prints: 12/11/2019 at Philadelphia area service center

So far nothing... so frustrating...

Anyone from the same area office? any progress? Thanks!

Philadelphia filer here (filed 10 days later than you). I replied to your other post. There doesn't seem to be a lot of Philly filers here so let's keep each other updated :) .

San Diego filer here. Did both my application (online) and biometrics in November.  Still nothing as of today and my estimated completion date is gone.  Getting antsy and trying to be patient at the same time is difficult.  Hopefully I and you all that are waiting, will hear some news soon.  Out of curiosity, those of you that are still waiting on interviews, did you request a name change in your application?

Yes I requested a name change. I’m still waiting for a interview. I contacted my senator to help with getting info on my case. Waiting to get a response from them.

I requested a name change as well.  I knew that it would take some extra time, but I didn't imagine it would be this long.  May I ask, how long you have been waiting to hear back from your senators' office?

I think people normally go to congresspeople, but you can do either. They should have an immigration liaison officer or similar. You will find some are more inclined to help immigrants than others, of course.

You can find contact details by searching via one of the official pages below:

https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative

https://www.senate.gov/general/contacting.htm

It’s only been 2 business days. (Not counting weekends). The senators office did contact me back saying they received my request and will stay in touch with me once they have received a response from USCIS-Atlanta office.

Cool!  Would love to hear update of what information (generally speaking, of course) your senators office provides to you.  I may look into that route if I start getting really antsy 😂

Good Luck and I hope you get some great news soon!
