  1. Hey don't worry. I think you will get it within a few days from the date of the e-mail. That has been my case anyways.
  2. I just got an e-mail that they are sending duplicate. You should receive yours soon as well!
  3. I did not ask so I don't want to speculate. The officer did mention that it should not affect our status here, like for jobs, e-verify, I-9, etc. But, if you plan on traveling outside the country I believe the best thing to do is to submit an e-request after 30 days or get your passport stamped.
  4. For people in NY and if your case file is in Vermont, I believe NOAs were never sent out first few weeks of Jan (possibly due to the govt. shutdown?). Although I should not generalize - that is true about my case. I called the customer service and that is what the officer told me.
  5. I think you are right, I filed an e-request for NOA. What did they say when you called?
  6. The receipt notice is usually the NOA with letter of extension. That is great news! Good luck!
  7. Good luck Christiannic, charge on the credit card is a good sign!
  8. Thanks H-M. I was panicking that I did not have an unrestricted SS card, but I do! So everything looks good for I-9!
  9. The website says: A Form I-797 issued to a conditional resident may be an acceptable List C document in combination with his or her expired Form I-551. I guess I might need the extension letter, although biometrics appointment is also an I-797.
  10. I wonder if a new job can be joined without the NOA? Given that biometric is already complete. 😕
  11. https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndn
  12. I had the same question as well. Is the NOA for extension categorized under type: "approval" or "others" in the e-request? You may call USCIS service center and ask them for case number.
  13. Awesome! That is really fast and great news!
  14. I am waiting for my extension letter as well , filed on 7th.
  15. Did you have to contact them regarding the extension letter? Is this the first i751 related correspondence?
