Thank you for updating. I'm June 3rd so this is giving me a little hope I'll hear something early next week.

I forgot to mention that I had called the NVC like two weeks ago when the site said they were processing cases from 6/2… they said my date was actually 6/8 even though the CEAC page showed 6/2. That caused a bit more (unnecessary) confusion.

Okay so I actually called last Monday and they said it still looked like i submitted June 3rd and she would route my case to a supervisor. I'm hoping that didn't hurt me and now I'm stuck in some other queue further behind lol I was going to give them another full week and then call the following Monday 8/2. Hopefully this coming week though and I can avoid even dealing with it!

I saw in another thread that a June 6th submission was DQed today so hopefully NVC will actually catch up with their posted review dates this week and start making more progress going forward. My resubmission was June 8th so crossing fingers we finally hear something…

Finally my wife petition has been DQed on july 22,2021. But that's all it says. Im guessing we are just waiting for her to receive a letter from NVC through mail that gives her the interview  appointment date. I dont know why rather NVC needs to mail a letter to the applicant when theybcan just send an email. Which then can be printed out to which can be used for Everybody as the same as receiving s letter from the NVC. Anyways

NVC will not send a letter by post.  The interview letter will be sent via email.

Sounds like things are moving along for many— great! Quick question, the next update will be a status change to ‘in transit’ accompanied by an email containing your appointment date correct?

*also, knowing that the embassy tells NVC each month it’s capacity for interviews, is there a certain day of each month the embassy tells NVC so you will know if you ‘made the cut’ or not? Ie first of the month, 15th, etc. It would be nice to know that for planning purposes.

Once yours DQ, I understand you will then wait till you're invited for an interview. Which depending on your embassy may take a long time.

From the posts in the London forum, last month the invites for the interviews went out around the 12th.

I was told today that NVC transfers cases to most embassies and consulates every other Tuesday, with the next transfer date being next Tuesday, August 3rd. Not all consulates accept cases that frequently (apparently Auckland accepts them once a month and it sounds like London might be the same) and some consulates are months behind due to pandemic delays. Not sure if that helps! We received our DQ email last week and hope to see "in transit" notification on Tuesday but it's all a guessing game...
