So far what I saw here is that the date for the changed status is Thursday. Would make sense as NVC did the same thing, sending out K1 cases to embassies the same days of the week

I don't  know if  I would subscribe to that analogy, but I  understand it's of your viewpoint.

No update - just finger print review completed and case received on new and old website but Informed delivery says I have something in the post from USCIS today. I hope it’s not an RFE! :(

Just an update - it was a Request for Initial Evidence. They want two things

- Copy of my long birth certificate ( I have already sent this before, I even sent both long and short from the UK general registrars office )

- proof that petitioner is a US citizen

anyways our lawyer has sent and response and they should receive tomorrow. I think it’s all a delay tactic!

Hopefully they will process this quickly so there wont be to much of a delay.

Hello there we also received an RFE requesting for my petitioner’s latest tax return which I believe, we included it when we sent our docs but for some reason it went missing :( we just sent it to them yesterday.

Got an RFE today dated for 11/7. Says I need to send it my joint sponsor's long form birth certificate (which I didn't know was needed because the short form was accepted for the visa. oh well) and a complete tax return for him as well which I sent in but I guess was lost. Planning to get that sent back ASAP

Yes. In my case, it changed to "case ready to be scheduled for an interview" as of Oct 30.

Yes I hope so too!

I have seen other people who got the "ready" notification later than already got their interview date.

Guess I'll just have to wait for my slow local office 😛
