Honestly, sometimes I wish I didn't have it either, I am obsessed, it's all i do all day, but it makes me feel better to see what they're doing. If you want,  I can check numbers around your case number to see if there's some movement

I feel you. Case tracker (a few numbers before work, some after) & forum (*cough* not just before and after work *cough*) - my husband has already (only half joking) asked what I’ll be doing once we’ve been approved, because I’m constantly wanting to check to see USCIS isn’t hibernating on us.

I’m also happy to check numbers around people’s case number when searching :)

Has there been anyone that's lived with their spouse abroad that's still tried to file the I-129F?

Yes, I sent mine off in June, but it was stuck in the stupid Turkish mail system for a month, so I’m still waiting to get my receipt notice.  I don’t want to return to the US too far ahead of my husband being able to join us (me and our son). So everything is on hold for us until the I-130 is approved. We’re going to have to move midway through the school year, I assume, but we’ve always prioritized being together over location 😕

hi all, here is the screen shot of my case status....Screenshot_20190815-191102_Gallery.thumb.jpg.e5e9dec3873a74c7a3b6055f00c6ab8e.jpg

Last night when I tried checking case tracker, everything just showed “CASE STATUS” instead of the actual status — so I’m assuming USCIS system sometimea glitches. 🙈

So we had to call NVC to find out if they received our case and were informed that our mail arrived

on August 13.

We were also told that it takes up to 8 weeks to assign a number.

Hang in there everyone. There's hope!
