No, I didn't set an appointment they transferred the call. But it was a long waiting on the line. I suggest call first thing in the morning and say that you need to reschedule the biometrics appointment because you didn't receive the notice on the mail.. if they said that they can't do it ask that you need to speak with someone who have more information of your case. When I called the guy on customer service said that they don't have access to see when the biometrics appointment was ( for him I should keep waiting) .  but , they do can transfer you with someone that have that information. I really hope it works for your.

As I was going to call them, they sent me the biometrics letter haha It took 3 months exactly. whew! Thanks for the replies though!

My Timeline (St. Louis, MO):

Update:

EAD + Parole combo card received: 12/02/2019

AOS Interview: 12/18/2019

Boston field office

I have a question: as I have received the combo card, should I include i-765 and i-131 forms on the documents for the interview?

Also, if they decided not to approve right in the interview, will they take my combo card (i might be working by then).

Take the combo card, they won’t take it away if not approved on the spot

Hi everyone, do we know if the EAD and travel auth come from the same local office where we are waiting for an AOS interview? We're in Manhattan where the interview wait time is over a year and I hope that if they're backlogged with those plus the combo cards we at least don't have to wait Manhattan-level times for the EAD... Or if all of the combo cards come from the same place nationally we should be getting ours soon.

The GC Interview is managed by the local offices. i.e. Manhattan in your case. However, the EAD and AP cards are still managed by NBC. So, I hope you'll hear soon about your EAD and AP. Also, you might have to apply for a renewal too as the GC interview timelines are crazy!

Hope this helps..

I wanted to come back and report on my RFE. They wanted us to fill out I-130A. Our lawyer said that they started doing that a lot now.

What visa is your spouse currently holding, if at all?

I’m married to an American. I came to the US 8 years ago on F-1 visa. Graduated with my B.S. and MBA. My OPT ended in Aug 2019.

Apologies, didn’t realize you were the holder. Yep, typically anyone who applies for AOS outside of a K-1 or CR-1 will have to do a I-130A for information usually collected in the early stages of family based green cards. Good luck!
