Depends on your office. It can get updated within 24 hours or even take a few months.

Gosh! A few months would drive anyone crazy! My home office has a current trend of a week to two weeks. I was curious what other offices experience!

07/17/19 - AOS Packet Mailed

07/19/19 - AOS Received

07/24/19 - NOA1 Date

The other day, my wife checked her status, and now it says we will be scheduled for an interview. not sure how long it will be to get our mail. lets hope fairly soon. does anyone know if they choose the interview time and date(stated in the letter they send us). or do we get to call and set a time when we receive the interview letter in the mail?

You should get the letter within a week of "interview was scheduled" status.  The letter tells you where and when. You can change date and time at the risk of delaying your interview.

Note the status  "ready to be scheduled for interview" doesn't mean you have been scheduled or will be scheduled soon.  It means you're in a queue for interview that can take days, weeks, or months (or even years in some cases) and no letter has been sent to you.  There is no action to be taken when you're at this stage unless you're outside of normal processing time.
