Just got this...requested.PNG.afc969a03823e8ee8d73c8d1428815ef.PNG

So... anyone else had this? I thought I submitted everything or they just missed some stuff as usual?

I'm guessing something went wrong with the I-864.

Hi All, we received a letter from SSN office stating "SSN cannot be issued at a moment because legal status will expire before SSN can be issued. DHS is unable to verify lawful alien status"

We will just wait till interview at this point. There is really no reason that we need SSN unless employment approval comes before the interview.

I got the same on September 12th. The hard copy said they needed my birth certificate and translation (which I sent in the first packet). We assumed it was lost or something because we had the long form BC.

The RFE response arrived on September 19th and we still didn’t get any update

Hi all

I filed back in July...i am impatiently waiting for the EAD.

What are the rules around online service requests (75 days)? Does this achieve anything?

Also - i heard something happens at the 90 day mark, can anyone confirm what this is and whether it achieves anything?

I might give them a call tomorrow to chase my EAD. Anyone have any advice?

Thanks

There is a processing time table on the USCIS website.  https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

"We have posted a “Receipt date for a case inquiry" in the table below to show when you can inquire about your case. If your receipt date is before the “Receipt date for a case inquiry", you can submit an “outside normal processing time” service request online."

It looks like my appointment letter is in today's mail.  I'll be able to tell you if it's the LA Field office or if they off loaded us to another office to speed up the process.  Our timeline of 2 months from NOA to 'Interview Was Scheduled' seems insane for where I am located.

So I want to share my experience with people who are still waiting for biometrics -

After 81 days, we finally got our biometrics letter last Friday (9/27). I did a walk in today (9/30) and completed my fingerprints.

During the wait, i have filed 4 service requests in total under I-485 & I-765 separately. There are 2 types of e-request you can file to request biometrics letter: "Did not receive notice by mail" & "fingerprint & biometrics".

My first request "did not receive notice by mail" (filed on the 40+ day) got assigned to an officer with a disappointing reply "we are not able to provide the completion date". The other 3 requests were totally ignored. Even now, they are still pending under my cases history without being assigned to anyone. I have been calling USCIS for 10+ time and got escalated to a tier 2 officer for once. But nothing helped, they said the field office is still processing my case.

When I was extremely frustrated and almost decided to hire a lawyer, my biometrics letter came on the 81st day. So my conclusion is, maybe there is really nothing we can do besides wait.

US Date of Entry:                                   07/04/2019

Date of Marriage:                                  07/06/2019
I-485 / I-765 / I-131 Sent :                    07/08/2019
I-485 / I-765 / I-131 NOA1 :                 07/11/2019

Biometrics Letter Received:                09/27/2019

Biometrics Completed:                        09/30/2019 (walk-in)

Fingerprint Review Was Completed: 10/01/2019

Ready for To Be Scheduled For Interview: 10/03/2019

Interview Scheduled:                           10/07/2019

Interview Date:                                      11/14/2019

Hopefully things will move quickly for you now.  It's my understanding that the NOA date is more pertinent to scheduling than the biometrics date.  I'm sorry that happened, it sounds incredibly defeating.
