Woohoo! Case number achieved! Everything is going so fast now! 😯

Now you should jump over to the Philippine forum to get better answers for the process in Manila.

Thanks Hank! I've already been using your website to help guide us through the process. We already have the CFO seminar scheduled, medical planned, and have all of our required documents in order! Now we're just waiting for everything to arrive at the embassy so we can pay the fee and schedule the interview.

Thank you so much for providing such an excellent resource! 😀

Hey everyone,

I know it varies case by case but if my NOA2 was July 19th, and I see on NVC that the cutoff date was July 19th as well, does that mean they have my case now?

Thank you for the help

I would wait a couple days and call at the end of the week. The may have a case number by then. Being optimistic.

I got an email saying that the NVC has sent our application to the consulate in Montreal. I imagine they will be following up with an official letter saying this. Is our case number in that letter? and How/when do we submit the DS-160?

If you go to the first page, first post in this thread you will have the opportunity to answer all those questions. Download the PDF. If you have been following along in this thread you would have run across many who asked the same question about the DS-160. So the next thing you need to do would be to follow closely with the history of a thread. You'll be amazed of what you will uncover that you didn't know. Next, have you been to the embassy website and researched "what is next"? Have you found the sub-forum for your country? (Top of the page, blue ribbon, select "forums" scroll down 3/4 of the page and find you embassy/country).

There you have your answer.

One last thing. We don't want you to look like a newbie so here is one more additional request.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Ok. I have to go. There is a happy hour somewhere in the world that I must attend.

What cutoff date are you referring to. Never heard of a cutoff date.
