Looks like DC is finally moving with rescheduling!

-Original Interview Date: April 3, 2020
-E-mail Reschedule Notice Received: August 24, 2020

-Rescheduled Interview: ????? (Guessing late September)

We also sent in the EAD/AP Renewals for my wife in July as her docs expired in October.  We wanted to get them in and get the notice on account of the USCIS furlough coming and we had no idea when they would reschedule her.

I guess the looming USCIS furloughs are not affecting interviews?  Anyone got more background info on this?

Got the interview notice today. It is scheduled for 9/10. So that makes it three weeks from the date of status change to Interview scheduled.

Could you both fill out your timelines please? Would be great to know when your NOAs were.

Hi All! We need to renew our EAD I wanted to know do we pay the filing fee or is the fee waived since we are in AOS status?

No you don’t have to pay the fee if your I-485 is still pending. Just send the form with the passport photos and copy of the current EAD.

We had a last minute Interview today, found out yesterday. It went really well, the officer just ran through our form and asked how we met and a brief history of our relationship. After that he advised that he’d approve us and to look out for a status change. Just checked and it now says ‘New Card is Being produced’.

Hopefully people are scheduled soon and good luck when it comes!

That’s awesome ! Congratulations! I was wondering how come you only found out yesterday ?

No idea, we had an expedite so that may have had something to do with it, but we got a call late yesterday, we had to rush across D.C. to get my medical in time for this afternoon. Luckily I had some results from consular processing. At this stage I’m not questioning it, just happy to finally have it sorted

Hi all, good to hear interviews are being (re)scheduled in the DC office!

I filed AoS+EAD+AP in mid March 2020, had my biometrics mid August and have since been waiting for my interview to be scheduled.

Can someone help me with the medical? I submitted the medical from K1 with my AOS in March, so that should mean I don't need to do my medical again or do I?

"Life is a journey." At this moment, it's taking me to the USA to the woman I love.
