Okay so i know i have shared the my wife visa experience but this is something she has been wanting to share as well coz of everything i/we have got to know and learn and made our journey smooth because of all of you and the entire forum with content of knowledge shared! Thank you all will be continuing till citizenship in here..

My Interview date was 20/06/19 at 7: 30 am

I reached the venue at 6:00 am and we were asked to stand in a queue around 06:50 am with the documents asked for interview.

In the queue we were asked to show NVC letter (email will do, original isn't mandatory) and current passport. One of the guy ahead of me brought an email but unfortunately, in his email the time was not printed so he was not allowed to enter. After he brought his printed time, he was allowed.

Then my scanning was done. My file, my watch everything was scanned. Do not bring your phone, smart watch,CD, pen drive or any electronic devices with you.

Then I entered in the main hall, it was divided in two main hall one for Immigration Visa and other Visitor visa.

I was asked to take out the following documents:

1. DS-260 confirmation page which was stamped during your Biometric.
2. Passport
3.Marriage Certificate + Photocopy
4.Birth Certificate + Photocopy
5. PCC + Photocopy

I was given a token and was asked to wait for my Token to be displayed on the TV screen( just like the passport office) There were 17 to 18 counters (windows) and there was enough space to keep your documents.

My token was displayed and further I went to my counter and was interviewed by an Indian Officer.The Questions asked were:
*Who is your Petitioner?
*Which countries have you visited?
* Have you stayed there more than a month?
* What does your husband do?

Then he gave me a letter for Domicile Violence and some information about that act and was asked to wait until an American Officer comes to his place.

It took hardly 15 to 20 mins and my token was again displayed and I went to my counter.

I said " Good Morning Sir" he replied good morning too.
He told me to raise my right hand and take an oath that whatever I speak, I will speak the truth.
Questions asked :
* Who is my petitioner?
*Love Or arrange Marriage?
*How did you met your spouse?
*When did you meet him for first time?
*What did he like in you?
* How did you fell in Love?
*When did you visit your husbands home for the first time?
*Marriage date
* How many people attended your marriage?
*Did anyone come from usa to attend your marriage?
*How did your husband go to the USA?
* Do you have any photos or proof of your relationship?
* Are you christian?

Okkkk, Your Visa has been approved.

I was blushing and said Praise The Lord.. and thanked the Officer.

he gave me two Letters after that 
1. A letter saying that 

YOUR VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED

2. Online information as to pay your Green card fees before you enter USA.
 
So, these was my experience. Want to thank Lord, My husband, the Officer who was polite and kind, my family and last but not the least all of you who has helped my husband gather the information through this Forum.

Want to share one thing, one girl with me got her application refused as her documents and proof were not valid.

NVC will schedule your interview at the Consulate and inform you!

When does NVC send the case to consulate? Before of After scheduling the interview?

The Consulate sends the available interview dates to the NVC and the NVC sets up the appointment for the applicant. The case is sent to the Consulate after the interview is scheduled.

Not something I can or infact anyone here can predict. I would say they usually book July appointments in June and August appointments in July.

Get it. I was just wondering if there would be some movement this week. Looks like there wont be any.

Most people here have reported that July appointments are closed. If someone cancels their appointment, you could see an appointment or two. I have seen people getting ILs just about 2 weeks before the interview date. Keep your hopes high!

I’m so broken had my interview on the 13th June was last updated on ceac site on 18th , recieved a msg from the embassy to pick up my passport from DHL on 21st , got there yesterday only to see my passport had no visa . 

 

I had had a very smooth interview, no documents were asked of me . I have sent them email . I already paid for my green card and flight ticket 

was supposed to leave 1st July . Jesus! What possibly could be the issue at beyond broken!

Were you approved at the interview? What does the CEAC status say? Administrative  processing?

Hello guys so I have my immigrant package and visa ready and will be leaving to the USA on 15th of July .My instruction sheet on how to pay the immigrant visa fee is damaged , my son dropped it in water,  am wondering if anyone who has a copy can scan and send me one in my mail . I just read it's important to carry it with me .
