Hijab pictures for K1 visa

I don't think the problem is a 'hijab picture' - you could have used other 'head wear' to cover up hair loss problems, don't submit the picture etc.

You should listen to your gut feeling and then take a long hard serious look at your relationship, your feelings and what YOU want for your future.

There's recently been several posts about signs that was ignored etc. Here's a link to which links to another in the replies

I'm not judging you because I've been there done that. I'm asking you to please take your time and make absolute sure this is what you want. If any kind of doubt then wait. If he doesn't understand and accept that he's not the right one for you and someone far better is out there somewhere. It took me until the age of 57 and tons of hardship to find the right one for me but I did 😊

What signs are you even talking about here?

She has said she is not converting, she wears it due to medical issues. You are waaaay out of line.

What does any of this have to do with her question?   She has not expressed concern on her relationship.

Not sure how wearing a hijab would automatically suggest relationship issues?

Maybe st the state department (interview) level, but definitely not USCIS.   They simple don’t care about things unrelated to eligibility to file the petition, and religion is not a part of that.

I’ve read in forums about interviews and how they sometimes do ask about religion, but  okay thank you for your feedback .

Thank you for the advice 🙂 we actually love each other very much and he’s never cared if I have some hair loss, but I think that was my concern about the questions during the interview, any questions of religion or “ why didn’t I wear something else to cover my hair loss?” Things like that.

My fiancé is from Morocco and we took pictures that we plan on submitting for our K1 visa process. I have a picture of me in hijab but I have not converted. I only used it to cover some hair loss problems .

would the picture affect us for our process????

It will not/  it will look good to see these photos in the embassy when they receive the packet

congratulations on this

the following is for any woman going to morocco

Many of us over with hijab when in Morocco to respect the culture and family values

any woman who wants to show respect in Morocco should at the least cover her arms and legs as the townspeople will talk behind your back

I did not wear hijab all the time but i tried to show this "respect " to family

I have talked about this before especially when i watched the 90 day fiancee show with the Florida woman who didn't try to learn the culture

she wore a tank top with bare arms and shorts

she told his mom " i love your son"  which is not at all appropriate/they do not talk openly about this as well as not kissing in front of people

and a woman who smokes should not do in Morocco / not in the house and not in public places / so girls give it up

I hear some say "the family loves me"  but in many cases they are happy that their son/brother/nephew is getting a chance for a better life and that you are the person offering him a chance

After all the women probably do not speak good English and are not with you long enough to really learn who you are

i spent months with the family

i was a  guest the first month but then pitched in to help with the work

There is so much to learn (about any other country, culture and religion)   These are the things we need to know and the beneficiary needs to know about everything concerning us to make a  marriage really work

to the OP

wishing you the best

allah yessir means allah make things right

Uh What? There is a disconnect between your first comment and the rest of your post. The question was about submitting a photo in a hijab, not about being unsure of the relationship and fidelity.

Wearing the hijab will not be an issue but a plus for the casablanca embassy

and she doesn't have to convert or be muslim to wear it

it is just "respectful"  in Morocco to the family

and a Moroccan will talk a lot about "respect"

as for the other posts on  here many of us are married and happy (9 years for us) to a Moroccan

I’m glad to know someone who understands the Moroccan culture 😁.

His family was actually surprised and loved that I wore the hijab.

although not all the time, I just wore it a few times most of the time I was wearing a hat or had my hair up.

The CO might ask if you share the same religion (usually asked when the country of origin is MENA and the CO is determining if any red flags)...but religion is not used as a sole reason for denial.
