Question for my sister's tourist visa application

Hi,

 

My sister is working in Qatar as a nurse a d we are requesting her to accompany my mom to come and visit us here in US. I am a green card holder and what are the requirements on my end - I am a full time worker in a pharmaceutical company for over 4 years and my husband (American) works under the table but he reports his income on our taxes. Do I need to show my pay slip and taxes?  Would this be a problem in my sister's application?

There is nothing to do on "your end". You don't provide any kind of documents...

 

Your sister is going to apply on her own merits and she'll apply for tourist visa on her own.

06.02.2014 - NoA2

01.04.2014 - Interview. 

AoS

03.2015 - AoS started.

09.2015 - Green Card received.  

RoC

24.07.2017 - NoA1.

01.08.2018 - RoC approved.

No requirements on your end, does your Mother have a Visa?

Agree with @Roel.  No requirements on your end at all......and not anything you can do to help.

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

There are NO requirements on your end. That is not how US visitor visas work. You sister has to apply on her own with nothing from you.

No. Absolutely not.

There is no requirement for you to show anything. The US government does not instruct anyone other than the applicant (your sister) to submit anything.

She must apply and be approved on her own merits and her merits alone.

 

There is no requesting a visa for her. There is no applying for her. There is no invitation letter. There is no sponsorship.

Your sister is applying for a tourist visa.

You cannot do anything for her except wish her the best of luck at her interview.

She has to prove ties to home country and you cannot help with that. You do not need to show any paperwork in support of her. Also, as an LPR you are not eligible to file for sibling. This is only applicable for US citizens.
