Congrats! One step closer to NVC..

We contacted CSC and got the weirdest response today. The lady told us that the file is always sent to NVC on the day of approval and it takes 60  days to reach NVC. It doesn't sound right!! My husband did tell her that we were informed in all prior calls to CSC that our file is yet to be sent. But she kept repeating that this is how it's done. And got frustrated when he kept asking questions!!  I don't know what to make of this whole thing. Just feeling so helpless.

Same here. my file was approved on 1st april and yet not received by nvc. i callled Uscis every alternate 3-4 days but they said it has to be reach within 90 days. but in my approved i 797 petiton mentioned only wait for 30 days.

I already mail to nvc research to find out my file status. but they are also slow.

We got our case complete on May 6th from NVC and that they will work with the embassy for an interview.

Anyone know what are the wait times for the Colombian embassy?

Hello!

A few weeks ago I read the Colombian newspaper “El Tiempo” were they shared an article saying that the embassy in Bogota is also now handling all immigrant cases for Venezuelans as the embassy in Caracas is closed.

Not sure if this will cause a delay in obtaining the interview date.

¡suerte!

So I can see alot of people have been talking about it, but I can't seem to make up what's accepted by the NVC.

For example my wife's 2018 tax transcript, which is roughly 5 pages, should that be uploaded as 1 PDF file, or split into 5 PDF files?

And does anybody know if my wife's 2017 tax transcript would be accepted as the most current year, since US citizens living abroad have until June to file their taxes, and so therefore they will not be ready until July probably.

Her income will not meet the poverty guideline as her job is not continuing to the US, so we are using her father as a joint-sponsor and we do have his three years tax transcript including the 2018.
