Those of you got interview notice , does it come from NBC or field office ?

tbh dont know how to tell one way or the other. But your interview scheduling goes according to how busy your local office is

This is not what I meant, I wanted to learn if nbc coordinate with local office and schedule interviews or they just send the file to local office and local office schedule it and contact the applicant

Any news from comrades with MSC / Local office Minneapolis - St Paul?

Been on ready for interview since July 24th, that was after I send an e-request that I've heard nothing about Biometrics. They responded to my e-request that Biometrics were waived and a couple days later ready for interview... Filed May 13th.

I was abroad and got back recently, used the extension letter both in my layover boarding and entering here with no issues.

Got approved yesterday. The whole process took 30 minutes walking in to out the door of the building. There was no one else doing interviews at the time but us. The interview itself inside the lady's office took 10 minutes. The USCIS officer  took us both at the same time and had our file with every paper we've submitted for this process.

She asked, how did you two meet? When did you start dating? Who proposed? How was the proposal? do you have kids?

At the same time she was filling out a form and checking some information like: full name, SSN, address.

At the end she said we were approved and that we should get the new card in a week or so.

Congrats JB209 and thank you for the update we really appreciate it , i was wondering if any one living in Minneapolis so far got the interview ?

MSC seems to process everything so quick! I wonder why all the other service centers take so long :(

Not really.  Have a "Ready to be scheduled for Interview" since April 4.

MSC actually doesn't process anything really, it gets forwarded to your local office and then things get scheduled from there. MSC is for cases that are forwarded to the local office for interviews.
