How long will you be outside the US? A lot of folks have been at "ready to be scheduled for interview" for months. You probably have a long way to go until your interview will actually be scheduled.

I have been out since almost two month and will be back mid December, not sure if I have to book my ticket or wait to see if my interview will fall earlier.

We were overseas for several months at a time twice this year.  Have been in "Ready to schedule for Interview" since April 4th and still waiting.  It's a personal choice when to buy a ticket.

Just keep checking your status online and not worry about it until it changes to "Interview scheduled". Once this happens, they will send you a letter (notice) with the interview appointment date and time; at this point I would recommend that if you have someone you trust to go check your mail in order to open that letter and you know the actual interview date to proceed to make your plans (buy a ticket back to the US, etc).

 

The paperwork you need is pretty much the same you submitted along with your I-751, plus new evidence (newer pictures, new properties or contracts or things like that...)

I just checked for the first time in a month or two and saw the following from earlier this month - yay!

As of October 2, 2019, we are ready to schedule your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXX, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

How long did it take to get a reply from NBC after the transfer? I got receipt of transfer about a month ago.

So, NBC is not doing anything with your case. It’s just a transfer point to your local office. My case was in NBC roughly for 3 weeks and than landed in local office, I know that because around the same time I went to get 551 stamp and was told that case is in local office. Of course you won’t get any kind of update exactly when case ends in local office, no mail, no status updates.

exactly same like when I’ve got stamp onto passport , officer told me my case is at local office after got mail of transfer from csc to nbc around a month ago

Thank you so much for the clarification. I didn't realise that you didn't receive notification of the transfer to the local office. 

My 18 month extension is up in two weeks. I guess, when I go for my Infopass appointment. I will find out more details.

Ive got case transferred to NBC from CSC around a month ago & when got my passport stamp like 10 days ago I was told my case came from NBC to my local office field at Denver CO

On October 22, 2019, we mailed your new card for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXXX to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by November 6, 2019, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

 

 

Still kind of disbelief at how quickly this all went by! I bicker a lot about the town where I live but at least the local USCIS is really on the ball.

Wow Congrats. Please when did you file your ROC? I did mine in Feb, did biometrics in march and since april 17 2019 my case status has been showing ready to be scheduled for an interview. I dont really know what to do.

Filed April 1st 2019. Most likely your case was not long at MSC and was sent to your local USCIS office. Now you're in the backlog waiting list at your local office, so it all depends on them. :/ I have a hunch "ready to be scheduled for interview" means that the case is now sitting at the local office.
