I have a submitted date of April 1st and today I've received a notification to say that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview!

Had my biometrics on the 23rd, as well :)

Is it normal for things to be moving so quickly, or will it slow down now?

It's not unusual to move to "ready to be scheduled" fairly quickly. Unfortunately, it's very possible to stick there (rather than moving to 'interview was scheduled') for quite a while unless you're at a relatively fast field office (which I don't think Seattle is).

Seattle has lots of pending cases even more than Phoenix (Here takes about 1 year and a half to get an interview): https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/Reports and Studies/Immigration Forms Data/Adjustment of Status/I485_performancedata_fy2019_qtr1.pdf

Thanks!

If you mean a collection of VJ user timelines with dates, those can be found: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aoslist.php?cfl=&op5=5,6,8,9,10,11  (Or click Immigration Timelines at the top, click AOS Timelines on bottom left.) It has custom search options for filing dates, NOA dates, local CIS office, etc.

You can also add your own timeline to be added to the list and get approval estimates based on user-provided trends.

This is what I actually meant. We can customize it for the AOS process.

Kinda late on the draw here but just joined the group!

My husband's AOS was mailed April 23, received April 24 by Chicago lockbox. Text confirmation of receipt came on April 29, same day as the credit card was charged the two concurrent filing fees (1225+535). Waiting on NOA1 in the mail.

Process is for an adjustment of status from non immigrant (TN) visa to permanent residence based on marriage to a US spouse! Local office is Charlotte, NC.

Why the two amount of 1225 & 535?

1225 for 485 and 535 for 130/130a. Adjusting from non-immigrant TN to spousal based green card. They took both forms with the CC payment. Did we overpay? Maybe they'll process it quicker with the extra cash! ;)
