My fiance called earlier this morning and had issues saying it was busy.

I'm calling now from within the US and am currently on hold (about 8 min now).

Seems maybe calling from outside the US causes issues?

I called form outside the US (using Hangouts app) and got on hold and then got through. They might just be too busy and the calls don't go on hold.

I guess I will be joining this thread now. NOA1 dated 01/31/19 NOA2 dated 04/22/19..I think mine was 81 or 82 days for approval. Woohoo!

Glad to have you but their is one requirement to help you to maximize your time here and answer your questions.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

We called NVC now but it doesn't require to press numbers and also doesn't allow us to wait on the line, it only says it's too busy bla bla bla in english and spanish, then ends the call. Help please

Read the instructions on page one, first post in the thread for instructions on how to call. Yes, I know the call center hours have changed but there is no way to go back in and change.

I already read this all paragraph, it isn't useful because when we call it doesn't require to click on numbers. It right away says it's too busy and we can't even hold and wait. So what do I do?

It is useful, you are just hitting higher then normal call traffic. The automatic answering software will adjust it's self to what ever the client programs the system to do based on the conditions. When it has more traffic then it can take it will give you "it's too busy". When the call traffic is down then you can use the prompts. The call center software determines what it's going to allow based on call traffic. I have nothing to do with that.

So what do I do?  Keep trying.

Hi everyone! We just got NOA2 in the mail today:

NOA1 : January 30, 2019

NOA2 : April 18, 2019

79 days

:D

I was wondering about "updating the petitioner's and beneficiary's email addresses": should we do this right after getting NOA2, even if we didn't really change our email info, just to prompt the system to notify us of any further actions from NVC? I'm worried it might be redundant since there's really no changes to our email addresses.

Yes even if no change do it and request to be notified  once your case is there. Also request to be notified  once your case number is assigned.
