if your EAD category is c09 or c31, you can  continue working because you are eligible for automatic 180 days extension. I filed in Dec 17 but haven't received any RFE.

P.S i am not sure if you can still work because you applied after your EAD expired. you should have applied for renewal before the expiration of your EAD

180 day extension is ONLY if you filed a renewal on time

Hello everyone,

Do we only use Congress help when our case is out of processing times per the USCIS website, or can we still submit a request via our Congress person if the case is taking more time than estimated.

for example for VAWA cases from August/September 2017?

TIA

I didn’t see many cases from September 2017 approved yet. I don’t think you are out of time yet or that is taking more than the estimated time. The website says between 16 and 22 months. I think you should be hearing something very soon.

I just wanted to ask you guys might some one knows the answer .

When you have pervious 485 based on marriage case denied for administratively close . Not removal processing

would be a problem when you filed new 485 ? Would effect anything or effect new 485 based on vawa approved ?
