Hi @Tsp11022019 !

We finally got approved today, after 287 days. Did you receive your case# from NVC yet? Did your online status change to “case was sent to the Department of State”? How long did it change from “case was approved” ?

Yaay yaayy!!! Heartiest congratulations! Our status still hasn’t changed to “case sent to DoS”. It still shows as “approved”. We got lazy after we got approved. But it looks like we’ll have to call and chase USCIS once again to ensure that they’ve sent the case to NVC. We haven’t received anything from nvc either. Hoping to hear something soon.
Heartiest congratulations once again! Get ready for some more waiting now..

Thank you so much! I know we have to wait more, but I am so happy we are done with USCIS (hopefully).

Our online status never said “case was approved”, it was changed to “case was sent to the Department of State on Jan 2, 2020” so I thought that was our NOA 2, but yesterday we received notice in the mail and Notice date is Dec 27 so I am hoping it did leave USCIS on Jan 2.

I would recommend you give them a call, they should have sent it to NVC by now.

Thank you once again I wish you this 2020 to be the best year!

Take care :)

Hi there,

My wife submitted my I-130 in March 2019, and we received our NOA1 shortly after. Today we received notice that our case was sent to another processing center from Nebraska.

I notice a lot of people who filed the same time as us are starting to get approved. Should I begin contacting anyone at USCIS or is it still just a waiting game for the NOA2?
