Nope, they mostly only know about normal 5 year applications. However, a lot of the people in this forum are filing N-400 after being on K-1 visas. All I am asking is whether they wrote on their N-400 application the time they were outside the USA whilst their K-1 application was pending.

Nope, I only counted the days spent outside the US from the date I actually moved to the US.

My case is still ready for an interview since March... I submitted an inquiry in June and 2 weeks ago I tried to submit another one and it said my case is NOT outside of normal processing times. 2 weeks later received a response on my inquiry from June basically saying “ you will be scheduled for an interview when you are scheduled for an interview” Also applied for n400 in April but nothing for that either. Anybody still waiting for an interview?

I’m still waiting too. And my status is also at “ready for an interview.” I’m getting tired of the waiting!

well it all depends on your field office, they are driving me crazy for a stamp and I really need to travel due to a family emergency but its messed up system. They don't bother to call you back, called them third time, only officers update in notes that we are not calling back because there is no appointment available.I was requesting them I can go to any other location if there is any appointment available but they refused that only closest to your postal code can serve you. Now another tier 2 officer will call me in 5 working days and then I have to prove through documents via email that's its an emergency and then within 5 days they would call me back, if they approve then that officer would schedule an appointment and then I can get a stamp :( Feeling so depressed but don't see any solution

I may need to do this soon.

Do you mind going over who you call? And what to say so that we speak to the correct person?

Do we just call the USCIS number (1 (800) 375-5283) and just say "I need a stamp to travel internationally" ?

Thanks!

Background: Filed 1751 ROC on March 11,2019 and N-400 in March 2020. Case was at Vermont service center but sometime late 2019 transferred to Potomac service center. Submitted inquiry regarding case on Sept 10,2020. Got the following response when i login to egov.uscis

"As of September 10, 2020, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number ......., is currently not assigned for processing"

So they answered the inquiry with no answer ... LOL

Well thats prove them typical USCIS, doesnt matter how much you corner them or put pressure through your representatives but they will always make you feel "We are the Bosses here baby" Good luck

Hi everyone, I have an interview next week. I realized today my marriage certificate is nowhere to be found. I have a scanned copy in my computer, but i cannot find the original. Any clue if this is going to be a huge deal? I got married in Hawaii and I am currently in Texas. There is no way for me to get another copy fast enough. My interview is for my pending I-751 and N-400
