We had our interview today and were approved. Many thanks to @Greenbaum and the rest of the VisaJourney community. I never would felt comfortable doing the paperwork on our own without everyone's help!

Congratulations!

My husband and I filed I-129F in March 2019 and haven’t heard anything since then. The application is handled by National Benefits Center, according to the receipt notice.

This thread is for K-1 Fiance visas. You’ll probably get better info in CR-1 threads

Wow, congrats! You two must've barely missed each other at the consulate.

We had our interview on October 23 and were approved!  It's been a long and tiring week, I'll try to post more info later but as of now the CEAC site already shows issued.  Not sure what the status really represents but it's definite progress.

Thanks to everyone on VJ who provided information and support to make this possible.

ISSUED. Means that your visa has been issued and is now ready for pickup. Follow the embassy instructions on the procedure works to secure your passport. Don't buy airline tickets till you have the visa in hand and have had a chance to review for any ERRORS!

Make sure if your driving that someone is driving for you. With it being a long and tiring week and the fact you had trouble figuring out what ISSUE means I just want you to be safe. :D
