Got some good news for you! We just got our approval today! I woke up to an e-mail alert from the new USCIS site https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/. It said "We have taken an action on your case." The e-mail was sent at 3:36 am! I logged into the new site and found "Case Was Approved". We are so excited!!! I hope things go quickly for you as well :)

No update from the old site or the Case Tracker app yet.

That's dope! I hope I get mine soon and your application goes smoothly :)

Our NOA2 was approved yesterday!

I haven't received an email, a text, and neither website have updated.

On a whim, I called, I waited 15 minutes for a representative to answer, and they told me that we were approved on 5/30/19!

Thank you all for the support, advice, and patience.  Additional thanks to @Greenbaum@jeka1700@Sarge2155

I'm praying for all of the other March filers to get notification soon and for our NVC process to go smoothly.

Ahh I know you are ready to rock now!!!! Congratulations.....

Hi!  I feel you on running out of things to do to pass time.  I noticed you mentioned death certificate for deceased parent.  Is that a requirement?

For the K-1 process in the Panama embassy, the death certificate of a deceased parent is not required.

My fiancée is from Venezuela and her parents are Colombian.  She is entitled to a Colombian cedula and passport if she is able to provide certain documentation.  One of the documents is her deceased father's death certificate.

Her Venezuela passport is expired, and we are waiting on an extension for that passport.  In the event that the extension doesn't come in time, we would like to have the Colombian passport as a backup, so we can do the D-160.

Congrats, bud! It's funny how we were talking about earlier this week how quiet things were. I'd be curious to know when it does show on the website for you as it's all I ever check. So I wonder what kind of latency there is between someone on the phone at the office knowing and the website being updated.

Thanks, @Elif_and_Greg.   I am a firm believer in the concept of "trust, but verify."

I'll give it a few days for the website to update, or for the letter to show up to my house before I get paranoid and call again.

You'll most likely get it in the mail before the website updates if ever, mine still shows case received. At any rate it does not matter what site shows what after you get the hard copy in hand. I know you and Claudia are over joyed, again congrats!!!!

Don't put to much stock in the websites either of them. They work for some people but they were totally non functional for me! I would venture to say that you will find out either by calling or by mail. YMMV...

Here’s hoping for a good week full of March approvals. Last week was too slow, so I hope they make up for it this week.
