track your passport status from http://www.ustraveldocs.com/id/id-niv-passporttrack.asp , then if you choose a passport to be deliver by courier, check the delivery update on rpx.co.id.

usually rpx will deliver your passport 2/3 days after they receive it from embassy

The visa was issued yesterday, so give the courier 2-4 days to deliver it.

The advice given is always to wait until the visa is in your hands before making travel arrangements to leave your country, cancelling leases, quitting jobs, etc.  It's impossible to know when you will actually get it, so don't make assumptions.

Hello, we had our visa interview on last thursday and our visa was issued yesterday. When should we expect to get our passport back? (JAKARTA embassy)

If it works the same as a B1, (which I think it does) and you choose to pick up at courier location, courier would send you an email letting you know your passport is ready for collection between 2 - 3 days

You shouldn't cancel your lease before having the visa in your hands. Rule #1
