So, I filed in December and I got a RFIE about 3 weeks ago now. Claimed I was missing a birth certificate, wife's tax returns and payslips. I don't know how they could be missing those as I definitely had all that in the package. Anyway, I responded and basically sent out the missing evidence within the day and it was overnighted back to USCIS by the following day. Now the question is, I'm going to assume they were working on my case when they made a RFIE, so how long does it normally take for them to make a determination on the evidence now they have it in their hands? I'm seriously considering trying to expedite this or pushing this through my local congressman as we're start to get hit very hard financially as I've been out of work for almost 8 months now and have basically run through my savings. ☹️

NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!!!!! EAD approved after 189 days of waiting, expedited with the help of congressman's office over the past few weeks. I'll be able to start my job on July 6th and we'll be able to attend our wedding celebration in Canada this August. No words to describe the relief...I was really starting to lose my mind! Sending good vibes for everyone else still waiting ❤️

Congratulations! My status changed to “New card is being produced” as of today and the order was given yesterday June 16th.

EAD has no update yet.

EAD has no update yet.

Your EAD is terminated because your GC is approved. No point to wait for EAD.

Congrats!  dont forget to update your timeline:) Also nothing for EAD for 195 days, I am not waiting anymore, because even it it somehow comes, will be worthless a 2-3 weeks before my interview. I was hoping it will take a 3-4 months to get it, not 7-8.

For those of you who are adjusting from K1 visas and have already had your green card interview, did you need to bring a completed I-693 with you to the interview or did the DS-3025 suffice?

No, you do not need a 693.  They should have your medical on file.  We brought copies of the DS-3025 that were given to us after the K1 medical just to be safe, but he did not ask for them in the interview.
