Hi

I received a letter today from USCIS  that my application is approved but it is written  the following “prior to receiving your permanent card you may be required to report for biometrics processing (photo/fingerprint/signature)”

Don’t really understand because when I had the interview the agent took my photo, fingerprint, signature.

and on the website of USCIS it is said that my card is being produced

Is someone received the same letter of approval from USCIS ?

I had the same letter, its just standard information

My USCIS case tracker says card mailed to me so they definitely dont need biometrics again

Received an email this morning saying "We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time. We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on April 22, 2019."

If they took action on my case, why can't they tell me what that action was? 😫

Likely you have "Case inactivity notifications" set to "on" on my.uscis.gov.

You can turn them off in the settings by selecting "edit".

When you turned it on you agreed to them sending you notifications every so often even if there was no progress on your case.

This morning we booked a six-night stay in an Airbnb for my inlaws and other family members to stay the week of our wedding celebration in Canada. Feeling increasingly anxious as more and more people are spending tons of money to book flights and hotels but we can't book our flights yet because we are waitinggggggg. VERY glad that we left 8+ months "just in case the EAD/AP takes double the expected time." Really hoping we all get put out of our misery ASAP.

OMG we are on the same boat!!! When is your wedding in Canada??

Status changed to Interview was Scheduled today! I guess I will be going in about a month from now, based on your experiences.  I'll update when I get the letter in the mail.

Ugh! I just burst into tears at work. It's such an emotional process. 😭 Still no word on EAD/AP.

NOA Dec 18th.
