Later on we will be answering some of your questions that are embassy specific. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

 

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

An Update on my RFE.

I am still working on getting the information that they asked for in the RFE.

I hope to have it all together by May 25th, but that is memorial day weekend.

I am going to turn it around and send it back to CSC that same day if possible.

I will keep you posted.

Hi guys, we got good news today. My fiance in the US received our NOA2 in the mail. And upon checking my emails, I did receive a notification that they took an action on my case on the new site, 3 days ago, and I just missed on checking online. Hahah

There are many varying degrees of RFE's. Some as simple as not "ticking" off a question. Others forgot the fiancé(e) letter and then others who met on a website and now need to prove that it wasn't a marriage arrangement website.

 

Once you get your RFE, read over very carefully as you only have one chance to reply accurately without causing undue harm. Once you know what it is set out to correct and to include "everything" they are asking for. Then reread the RFE to ensure you are compliant. Make copies of everything for your record and send back using their instructions which are contained within the RFE. If the RFE requires a signature, PLEASE don't forget this. Once received at USCIS your case will begin adjudication where the agent had left off. No one can tell you how long it will take so be patient.

My girlfriend sent me this video on the K1 and CR1 visa changes that have been made on Capital Hill.

I remain neutral when it comes to politics.

This video points out the changes that have been instituted to make getting your fiance to America harder.

Also, read the comments under the video.

I still believe you are better off doing your K1 visa on your own with the help of VJ members.

This is simply a scare video to create more business for this guy....He could have said "Trump has dictated that immigration laws must be enforced".....and I doubt this guy can have any effect on the changes he lists.

That is what I said...it is an infomercial designed to get folks to lay down their money and hire this guy to do what they can easily do here on VJ.  I think everything he mentions was/and is already being done inside the adjudication process with USCIS.   I know we VJ folks are getting great mentoring and help from those in front of us who have already gone thru this process.  So,  smile and be joyful.

Yes exactly. I stopped watching because he’s giving misleading information. Example he stated the I130 form went from 3 to 12 pages. It’s been the same form for at least 10 years. So whenever it changed didn’t have anything to do with Trump as he implies

Texas doesn't process applications. They are a clearing house for the sole purpose of receiving  and scanning each of your documents into your electronic case file.  That's all they do.

 

You should be in the March K1 2019 filers thread to interact with others near you in processing. 

 

There seems to be a underlying problem that you have not asked. Can we help you with that?
