NOA2 approved in 114 days!!

Olá .. gostaria de saber se a estimativa de data do visajourney para o Noa2 foi parecida com a data de recebimento do mesmo.
Obrigada

Franco, the actual approval date was 10 days earlier than the start of the range Visa Journey provided. The original estimate was: 4/15-4/22. Much luck to you!!

Actual date of NOA2: 4/5/19

Obrigada pelo retorno 😊
Sorte pra nós !

Franco, from my analysis, add 98 days to your NOA2 date to estimate your Actual Interview Date.

The range is from 89 days to 109 days with an average of 98 days to get from the NOA2 date to the actual interview date.

I understand that it takes about 10 days for the Consulate to mail the Visa back to you after your interview. Also, the petitioner can be with the beneficiary during the interview in Rio.

Here is an example of the Consulate email.

Note: Your Petition # is entered into the DS160 application and your NVC case number is used to pay Consulate Fees and Schedule your interview at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-br/iv

We have submitted the DS160 before receiving the Case number from the NVC. The system allows you to do that. However, we can’t submit fees and schedule an interview until we receive the NVC case number. Tomorrow, we are going to start calling the NVC to see if we can retrieve the NVC case number if one has been issued.

Hi did you get your case number from NVC calling them.

Yes... I have been calling every day. The number I’m calling is: (603) 334-0700

Original Petition number goes on the DS160
NVC Case number goes on the Brazil payment and Interview scheduling website.

We are in Rio getting ready for our interview on 7/16. We are staying at Praia Ipanema Hotel on the beach of Ipanema. We walked to the medical offices for all medical requirements and had a great experience. Great area and we have always felt very safe. Uber has worked very well and all drivers / cars were nice. So far, a great experience with everything.

The K1 Visa experience today was very positive. We did make sure that all of our documents were in order per the Packet 3 email links. Passport, Birth Certificate Original AND copy, Police Reports, Medical Sealed Envelope, I134 form. And the Sworn Statement. We were asked these questions: How did you meet? When did you meet? When did the relationship start? How many times have you met in person since you met originally? Then she said... Thank you for providing the other documents. We have what we need to make a decision and your Visa is Approved. It was probably a 5 minute discussion. What took longer was working with one person to verify and organize our documents in a way that they wanted to review them. Then there was another guy that re organized them to verify them a second time and then he placed the documents in another folder. All was very smooth and fast. We left my phone at a Key Stand Alone Stand in the alley of the Consulate and payed him R$30 to place them in a bag and hold it until we got out of the Consulate building. No electronics are allowed inside the building.

Hi, I was wondering how long it took to get the visa issued. I won't choose to have it shipped, I'll collect by myself.

It took us exactly 1 week to receive it from tue courier.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
