An abortion is not a disqualification for US immigration in any way.

While illegal in PH, it's not an issue for the medical exam. They are prohibited from notify others except medical staff involved with the case, you, and the US embassy.

It's not uncommon to go through a psych eval in this set of circumstances with SLEC.

As long as you are honest, you'll be fine. No need to bring up the issue on your own, but answer anything asked honestly. Never, ever lie to anybody in immigration. The consequences for that are very severe.

I am sorry for your loss.

If you have trouble maintaining composure, then it is possible the examining doctor will note this in the report.

Hi im really worried about the medical exam. I had an induced abortion last 2011 and i dont know if i should tell the doctors about this or not. And if i admit it to them what will happen? Pls help me. Thanks

I would suggest you answer all questions honestly, but don't volunteer information.   If not asked, don't tell.

What if they asked me if i have taken meds to induce it? Or should i say a white lie that i got stressed at that time coz the ex left me?

There's no such thing as a white lie with immigration. Get the thought of lying out of your head...very bad things can happen.

Just tell the truth.Whether it was induced or not isn't an issue.

We understand it is an emotional thing for you. But for St. Lukes and the Embassy they just want to make sure that you are healthy enough for immigration. An induced abortion will not disqualify you from immigration. But, as others have said lying in any form is not good. Just tell the truth and everything will be ok....Maayong Suwerte)

Finally done...
